Mrs.Shweta Jaykumar Alagundagi had a strong vision to promote organic farming for the benefit of everyone when she realized the need for it during the first pandemic in 2020 as immunity played an important role in fighting against covid-19. The entire world was shut down and in this phase, many lost their jobs due to layoffs. This was an opportunity for Shweta to create hope in the lives of people along with a cause for the benefit of people as a whole encouraging the Javari cultivation yielding better results for the farmers.

Shweta put forth the idea before her husband Jaykumar Alagundagi for which he appreciated her thought and supported her to start the venture and in 2021 Alagundagi Agro Tech took its birth. As a woman, Shweta always felt the need of empowering other women to have equal respect and acceptance in society hence Shweta Alagundagi decided to deploy women to make them independent and believe in themselves to step forward accepting the challenges that come their way. Currently, 95% of the employees are women who are passionately working in the venture and are proud to have received this opportunity to support their families and kick start their careers.
